Our PNC Park Stadium Series Baseball Story & Inspiration:

Alright, all you Pirates inside PNC Park, listen up! PNC Park, with its beautiful riverfront location, easy access, and fan-friendly layout, consistently ranks among the best ballparks in MLB, but it has a problem–the Pirates. Oh yes! Pirates are here (us fans) and the opposing team better watch out, we’re loud, intimidating and up on our feet all game!

PNC Park is a Major League Baseball stadium located on Pittsburgh's North Shore. It is the Pittsburgh Pirates' fifth home. Following the controlled implosion of the Pirates' previous home, Three Rivers Stadium, it opened during the 2001 MLB season. PNC Park is located along the Allegheny River, just east of its predecessor, with a view of the Downtown Pittsburgh skyline. PNC Park, built of steel and limestone, has a natural grass playing surface and a seating capacity of 38,747 for baseball.

Let's learn more about the Pirates now. The Pittsburgh Pirates are a Major League Baseball (MLB) team that plays in the National League (NL) Central division. The club was founded in 1881 as part of the American Association under the name Pittsburgh Allegheny, joined the National League in 1887, and was a member of the National League East from 1969 to 1993. The Pirates have five World Series titles, nine National League pennants, nine National League East division titles, and three Wild Card Game appearances.

Because of its location, views of the Pittsburgh skyline and Allegheny River, timeless design, and clear angles of the field from every seat, PNC Park is widely regarded as one of the best ballparks in America. Some Pittsburghers believe that the baseball gods instructed the city to build "an awesome park or an awesome team." Choose one." If you're going to err on the side of awesomeness, PNC Park is a worthwhile bet. You will feel a little better sitting in your seat, admiring the skyline and sipping on a cold Iron City. One day, the team will be able to blend in with its surroundings. They have the benefit of historical precedent on their side.
